DAVID AND ANGELA FELDMAN

ANGELA (BASc 1982 SMC)

David and Angela Feldman are propelling U of T’s expertise in real estate education to new heights of global excellence.

David Feldman was born in London, England, and graduated from Hertfordshire College of Building and Willesden College of Technology with the goal of starting his own building company. In 1969, he moved to Toronto and, at 29, founded Camrost Felcorp, a leading real estate development and construction company.

Angela Feldman (née Bertucci), a St. Michael’s College graduate, began her career as a Provincial Legislative Assistant and later excelled in the real estate development industry before marrying David. Together, they raised three children—Joseph, Marc and Francesca—while growing Camrost Felcorp and engaging in philanthropy in health care, education and community development.

In early 2024, the Feldmans and Camrost Felcorp donated $15 million to the University of Toronto to establish the David Feldman Centre for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the Rotman School of Management. Their commitment to business and philanthropy has made a significant impact on the community.

The Feldman Centre aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to become dynamic, world-leading real estate professionals, elevating U of T’s expertise in real estate education to new heights. By integrating real estate teaching within the MBA, PhD and Rotman Commerce programs, the Centre ensures students have the academic foundations necessary to succeed in the evolving real estate industry and tackle challenges like the housing crisis.

Additionally, the Feldman Centre serves as a hub for innovative, multidisciplinary research that informs how real estate professionals, governments and businesses can address pressing economic, environmental and social issues. David and Angela Feldman are paving the way for a stronger, healthier and more prosperous future, with an impact that will resonate through generations of real estate professionals and communities across Canada and beyond.
