2025 Annual Dinner



The Chancellors’ Circle of Benefactors welcomed ten new members at its annual dinner and reception on April 30 at the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus. The evening also served as an official welcome for four inaugural members of a newly established recognition level—the Laureates of the Chancellors’ Circle—honouring members whose cumulative giving to the University has reached nine figures.

The evening featured a keynote address by renowned historian Professor Timothy Snyder, who offered compelling insights into authoritarianism, fascism and freedom, and reflected on the critical role universities play in defending democratic values.
